Post-doctoral Resident

Dr. Annie Lynch is a post-doctoral resident who attained a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Immaculata University in Malvern, Pennsylvania. She has worked in a variety of settings and her specialties include assessing ADHD and providing individual and group therapy. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), an empirically supported treatment focused on identifying and altering unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving. She also believes in tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. Therefore, she draws upon elements from various approaches, including client-centered, psychodynamic, and third-wave therapies, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Dr. Lynch works with a broad spectrum of clients, spanning from young adolescents to older adults faced with diverse challenges. She has a particular passion for working with those struggling with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), utilizing the gold-standard treatment, exposure and response prevention (ERP).
